Income and age points are taken only from the Family ID. If they are wrong there, correct the Family ID first.
Who can apply (eligibility)
- Permanent resident of Haryana with a valid Family ID (Parivar Pehchan Patra)
- Age 18 to 42
- HKRN jobs are contractual deployments in government entities, not regular posts
Documents to keep ready
- Family ID number, with name, date of birth and income correct in it
- The mobile number registered in the Family ID (the OTP goes to it)
- Education certificates and marksheets (serial number, roll number, marks)
- Skill certificate (NCVT / SCVT / ITI), if you have one
- Experience certificate, if any (PDF, up to 200 KB)
How to fill the HKRN Registration form (step by step)
- Open hkrnl.itiharyana.gov.in and choose "Candidate Registration and Login".
- Enter your Family ID, click "Display Members" and select your name.
- Click "Get PPP Verification OTP". The OTP goes to the mobile registered in the Family ID and is valid for 10 minutes.
- Check the personal details (they come from the Family ID) and click "Generate Registration ID". The number also comes by SMS.
- Fill education details and upload certificates; add a skill certificate if you have one.
- Add experience and choose your job level and skill preferences.
- Click "Make Payment", pay the fee, then "Final Submit".
- Open "Job advertisements" and apply for the jobs that match you.
Common mistakes that get forms rejected
- Wrong name, date of birth or income in the Family ID. These cannot be edited on HKRN: correct the Family ID first, then use "Update PPP Details".
- The Family ID still has an old mobile number, so the OTP never arrives.
- Final submit done before adding experience or certificates. Adding them later needs a "portal re-open request".
- Ignoring the consent SMS. Not responding gets you kept off the merit list for 1 month, then 3 months, then 1 year.
